Our Mission

Our Mission

CAP will support community programmes aimed at achieving self-reliance and people-centred development. We do this to aid the removal of obstacles hindering the attainment of economic independence thus facilitating action for change.

 

Aims and Objectives

  •     Community development programmes to provide for people living in

                  underdeveloped countries,improved education facilities which will enhance future

                 opportunities and  development.

  •  Enhance the capacities of disadvantaged people, to facilitate


                their participation in development and involvement in economic structures.

  •       To promote education and Training

  •        The Relief and Assistance of people in any part of the world who are victims of   

                   famine,Drought and natural Disaster

      

         •     Ensure the promotion of women's interests by supporting women's


                community-based income-generating projects.

       •     Strengthen the capacities of organisations working with disadvantaged children

  • To promote any other charitable purpose in furtherance of the Objects as the Trustees may determine from time to time.

     

    We aim to achieve our aims by:
        •     Sourcing and Providing resources, information and networking opportunities to
    strengthen community programmes and in particular, women's income-generating projects

        •     Developing and supporting education and training programmes in
    children's centres and orphanages through CAP's 'Computers for Change' programme

        •     Providing practical support to vulnerable people in humanitarian
    crises, like drought/famine,floods etc

        •     Capitalising on the resources available in the North and South to
    benefit the disadvantaged people
