Kenya Red Cross confirms of receipt of funds

The Kenya Red Cross Society yesterday officially confirmed receipt of funds from (Community Advancement Programme) CAP. The total sum of funds received was Kenya Shillings 1 million. In confirming receipt of the funds the Kenya Red Cross Socity stated that "The donation will indeed go a long way in alleviating the suffering from our people in most parts of the country".

The funds were raised by Kenyans in the UK and Kenyans online as part of a Famine Fundraiser Conducted by CAP. For more information about the fundraiser, please click here.
