CAP funds football league in Kariobangi slums
As part of an ongoing series of projects, CAP (Community Advancement Programme) will this year (2005) be funding several projects in the Kariobangi slums.

On Saturday 19 February 2005, CAP trustees from the UK visited the Kariobangi slums including several small football teams within this slums of Nairobi. CAP also donated football kits worth about Kshs 200,000 to the various teams in the kariobangi slums.

The locals in Kariobangi have conceived a league which will invlove the various small football teams that are resident in this slums. The league is off to a flying start and was inaugurated on 19 February 2005 with a sponsorship donation by CAP.
We are supporting a league, which we inaugurated with a donation for the sponsorship. The league will involve various small teams in the slums.
